Hi Helga, I searched all persons born Sweden, aged 21-40, indexed by head of household in Ohio and found no name similar to Edwin Swanson. It is most helpful to those searching if the subject line reflects: YEAR / COUNTY (if known) / SURNAME. Sorry I didn't find him for you. Liz, I didn't see that your John Vrbecky had been found, so I gave it a try. I couldn't find him in OH in 1910 or 1920, using many variables for searching. I went ahead to 1930 indexing and found this grouping using the indexing at Ancestry.com http://content.ancestry.com/iexec/?htx=List&dbid=6224&ti=0&r=0 1930; Cook Co, IL; VRBECKY, John 39; Marie, 33; George, 5. It may be very helpful to request this 1930 census lookup at the IL census list to learn more. This may be them found at the SSDI http://ssdi.genealogy.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/ssdi.cgi JOHN VRBECKY 27 May 1891 Jul 1970 60402 (Berwyn, Cook, IL) (none specified) 344-09-3779 Illinois MARIE VRBECKY 17 Feb 1897 Apr 1979 (not specified) 60402 (Berwyn, Cook, IL) 322-56-3710 Illinois GEORGE J VRBECKY 08 Jun 1924 27 Sep 1988 60402 (Berwyn, Cook, IL) (none specified) 338-18-1488 Illinois This was the only "Vrbecky" found in indexing for the US in 1900, 1910 & 1920: VRBECKY FRANK 30 M W OH OH CUYAHOGA 15-WD CLEVELAND 1920 with Carrie, wife, 26, Bohemia; Amy, 7, OH; Margaret, 4 8/12, OH. Try a search at the LDS site. You may be able to contact someone with more information on this surname. http://www.familysearch.org/ Hope this helps. Elizabeth, Rose and the others have made such a thorough search of OH Census that it is likely that Aaron Crosby was called on a mission to another State. Have you made a search for his wife's family was it Auter or Anter? There is a mention of an Angelican Minister Aaron Crosby in "Indian Castle Church, Herkimer Co NY online at http://www.fortklock.com/ICrecords.htm If this is your Aaron and NY is his Home Base, he may have returned to NY. Beverlee > Hi Elizabeth, I am not finding him in the 1850 in OH. If this is the same > Aaron as in the 1830 then he would be 70 - 80 yrs old--perhaps he is living > with a son.
Hi Elizabeth, I am not finding him in the 1850 in OH. If this is the same Aaron as in the 1830 then he would be 70 - 80 yrs old--perhaps he is living with a son. The 1850 is indexed by head of household only *unless the last name is different from the head *so if he is living in a Crosby household where he is not the head then he won't be listed in the index. There are 3 listings for Crosby's in 1850 Knox Co (his location in 1830) -James, Joseph and Amos but he is not with them. I ran his name thru the other states and there is one Aaron in Georgia, 2 in Illinois, 1 in Maine, 1 in MS, and 2 in SC. If any of those look like possibilities, you might want to post to the respective state lists for a reading. Sorry I couldn't locate him. Hi Charles, Sorry to say that even with the add'l info, I am not finding Clarence. There were 2 Clarence Buell's in OH 1930 but they were both in their 40's and no Charlotte or Jr with them. The closest I ran across was in St Johns Co FL: Clarence E. Buell is 27, wife is Annie M. age 24, Clarence Jr age 4, Harry R. age 2 and infant Marla M. Sorry I couldn't locate them. Rose ----- Original Message ----- > Clarence had a son named Clarence Jr. his wife was named Charlotte,...... > Clarence Sr. Was b....1904 d..1952 dont know dates of son and > wife....Thank you >

Dear Diana, Thanks for looking but I don't beleive this is the right one. I've put the next census down to see if he possibly is listed there. This time he'd have a wife, Anna. They were married in Cleveland in 1878. This is all I know of him, but I don't think theywere married very long. I didn't find a death listing, tho.
Thanks once again Diana. Yes that is the right family, the christian names are a bit out, Irma should be Maria, but the rest of the details are spot on. Thanks also for the other Biddlestones in OH, most of them are mine also. With much appreciation, very best wishes from Linda.
