    1. Lookup 1910 census
    2. Isabel Harris
    3. Would appreciate a lookup for the following ancestor. Harry DAVIES born Wales (Risca) around 1865. This would make him approx 45 years. He came to America 1890, naturalized 1897 (I think). He was an opera singer travelling around America with several opera companies and on the Chataqua circuit. Any possibility that he is in OH during the 1910 census? Many thanks, Isabel Harris - Wales UK

    3. Hello guys, I have been doing some research on an adopted line of mine and I am running into a confusion regarding the birthdate of my ggggrandmother's sister Sylvia (Campbell) Sutton. So I am hoping I can get the birth month of her from the 1900 census. She was married to Ira Sutton and they should be living Parkertown, Erie County, OH. Thanks in advance. --Andrew --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com). Version: 6.0.722 / Virus Database: 478 - Release Date: 7/18/2004

    2. Dear Rose, Thank you so much for your very hard work. You do a tremendous job. I am so grateful. Unfortunately at the present time, I do not see a connection. I will go back to Uncle Howard and see if I can get him to remember any more. I was hopeful that some of the posters in here would recognize someone listed, but a lot of people in this side of my Johnstons are not followers of genealogy. I certainly appreciate your work. 1. Re: [OH-CENSUS] 1860/Unknown County/ George W Hawley
    2. D. Smith
    3. Kimberly, I hope this is the correct family. Without the father's first name, it would be difficult to know where to start. There are many ways to spell Hawley. If you can follow with the Indiana leads, you may find a death cert. with a place of birth in Ohio. Then you can request more information and possibly find them prior to 1870. 06-20-1870; Brown Co, IN; Jackson Twp, Oakfarm PO, p337, family #295 Elizabeth Holly, 50, VA, $100 pers prop, cannot read or write William, 24, VA, works in sawmill, cannot write Mary E, 20, OH Meilcar, 22, VA, farming, cannot write Elizabeth, 17, OH Sarah, 15, OH, att. school George W, 11, OH, att. school 1880 census http://www.familysearch.org/ 1880 Jackson, Brown, Indiana Page Number 322C Jno. 1. Re: Monroe Co.-1860-Solomon Johnston
    2. sarnafarm
    3. Hi Sandy, There are lots of Johnston's in Monroe Co in 1870-I'm trying to find Benjamin as an 8 or 9 yr old. Since he wasn't born in time for the 1860 census without names of his-Benjamin's- other bro's and sisters (besides Solomon) it's pretty hard to narrow in on a family in 1860. Here is one possibility for 1870-see if any of the names ring a bell; Monroe Co, Malaga twp, pg 155, Woodfield P.O. Wm L or S. Johnston, head, age 42, farm labor, $100, b. OH; Eve, age 34, keeping house, b. OH, Martha, age 17, helps mother, b. OH; Margaret, age 15, attends school, b. OH; Richard C., age 12, attends school, b. OH, cannot write; Bureguan J. (that's the way it is indexed but how the name is actually spelled is not easy to figure out-I am hoping that it is a misspelling of Benjamin-he's about the right age), age 9, attends school, b. OH; Anna V., age 7, b. OH; Lorina or Lovena A., age 4, b. OH; Wm F., age 1, b. OH; end of this household On the same page; Nancy Johnston, head, age 44, keeping house, $2000, $460, b. OH; Adam T or F, age 10, attends school, b. OH; James V., age 7, attends school, b. OH; John R., age 2, b. OH; end of this household. On the page prior to this (pg 154) is Eliza Johnston, age 13, b. OH, domestic servant in house of Henry Long age 80 and wife Hannah age 67; If you have any idea of who Howard's aunts and uncles were we can try again. Hope we can find the right family for you. The 1850, 1860, 1870 are everynames indexes on Ancestry so the more family members we have access to the greater the possibility that we can find them.
