Diana thanks for the links to those sites. That is definately the same Joshua and Amy. Their son Isaac went on to marry a Cleo Wilson. I am really trying to determine when Joshua and Amy died and where. Isaac moved to CA by the 1920 census. I dont know if his parenst came too or not. Amys father Isaac Whitacre is said to have died in 1907 in Wood Co Oh but I have never been able to find him in 1900 census. I could not read the Indiana census image either. It is possible its the same family because they had a son named George Weaver who is said to have moved to Indiana and that same county as well. You have been a great help. Thanks so much. Diana, Thank you. I know that they married between 1850-1860, as Elizabeth was with her father in 1850 census, gone by 1860. I also know she was deceased by 1883 biography of her father. This would be the family in 1900: 01 June 1900, Bairdstown Village, Bloom Township, Wood County, Ohio (all born OH): WILSON, Samuel R., born March 1864 (36), married 13 years Mary L., Feb 1869 (31), mother of 5 (Lovina in 1910) Cleo E., Jan 1887 (13) Hazel E., Feb 1889 (11) Neva, Dec 1890 (9) Lloyd E or C., Feb 1895 (5) Baby (Marion in 1910, dau), Dec 1898 (1) RC
This is great! Thanks so very much. This along with the 1910 gives me a lot to work with! Terrific. Sadly there is no 1890 census so I will look back in 1880 which I know how to do online. I know Lovinas maiden name was Thurston so I will be certain to look under Mary and Lovina thanks to the clues in 1900 census. Thnaks again so much!
