Would someone please lookup the 1910-1920 Census in Cleveland Ohio for William and Sabina Crawford? William was born 1852 and she was born 1862 or 1864. They are on the 1900 Census. Sabina died in 1919 so she will not be on the 1920 Census. Thanks for any help. Kathie
Jamie, I checked the 1880 census www.familysearch.org And there was one William Hall that seemed to fit them but unsure. They were in Murphysboro, Jackson, Illinois William HALL, 23, coal digger Maggie, 23 Daniel, 3 May, 2 All born OH, OH, OH
Karen, Thank you for finding him in 1900, since Hall is a popular name, I had a hard time finding him. So I wonder what happened to the children? Since there wasn't any living with him and Anna in 1910. Hope you find more on him, if you have the time, don't want to be too pushy...lol jamie
Jamie, I checked out the 1910 census in Muskingham County HALL, Wm J, 51, married 3 yrs, b. OH, unknown, unknown, Laborer, brick works Anna M, 22, 0 children, b. OH, OH, OH MOFFETT, Chrisi~~al, niece, 9, b. OH, OH, OH EDGAR, Joseph, Boarder, b. OH, OH, OH Then looked in Coshocton County in 1900 and found this HALL, William, Head, April 1858, 42, married 24 yrs, b. OH, ENG, (blank), coal mine boss, own farm free Margaret, wife, March 1858, 42, 3 children / 2 living, b. OH, OH, OH EDGAR, Joseph, servant, Feb 1867, 33, S, b. OH, OH, OH So, it would be safe to assume that this is the same William since Joseph EDGAR is living with him in 1900 and 1910. Which also answers your question of whether he was married before. Will keep looking for info. Karen
Hi Kathie, I may have found your James A. in Ward 1 but with a name like Miller we need a little more info to help narrow them down. There were something like 12 Clarence Miller's in 1930 Mahoning Co and only one of those even came close. Can you give us year of birth, where born, and are Clarence, James and Sarah siblings or parent/child? 1930, OH, Mahoning Co, Youngstown, ED 12, Sheet 2A, pg 189, Ward 1, taken April 3; James A. Miller, head, rents, $40.00, has Female, white, age 46, single, can read & write, b. NY, parents b. OH, cook, restaurant, wage worker, no military service; end of this household. There is also a James A in Ward 7 but has a wife, and children-dau Hazel is 22, son James A is 18; On Clarence, the only one even remotely close as to names given is Clarence J. age 27, wife Sarah age 24, sons, Wayne age 5, Clarence Jr age 4 1/2, and Raymond age 2. Hope you have a little more info to share so we can find them for you. Dear Michele, Thank you for your response. I'm not sure there is a connection either. The lady in question is the daughter of my 3xGreat grandfather, by his first wife. She married a Sessor and had 6 children, 3 girls and 3 boys. They all stayed within the Licking county area. I have censuses for the boys up until 1930. The problem is: Sarah Sessor probably remarried sometime in the 1880's as she was young and already a widow. I have been told she married a Herman Frances, but have not been able to find a census for either. I thought she might have died during the 1890-1900 lapse. I know there were other families by the name of Sasser in the Newark area during that time, but not related to my family. I, in fact, found an obituary for a Sarah Sasser of Newark during the 1890's and thought it might be her. It turned out to be someone else about the same age. I have two "brick walls" from that same line. I shall persist! Thanks again. Eileen
Hello, I am trying to find a William Hall, that was born about 1859 in Ohio (according to the 1910 Ohio Miracode index), don't know if he was married to someone else or not, but in 1907 he married Anna Jones in Coshocton county, Ohio. She was a sister to my great grandmother. Last known place was in Muskingum county, this was in 1910, she lived to 1956 until she died and had remarried to an Elmer Davis in 1926 in Coshocton county, Ohio. I am wanting information on this William, his parents or if he was previously married. Any help is apprecaited. jamie
