Hello Kathie: I did look up in the1910 OH Census on Ancestry.com hat: William S. Crawford was b. 1851 in OH, white, married. I could not visualize teh actual census but found WD-16 Series & 624 Roll 1172 Part 1 Page 181 A Year: 1910 but no Sabina was listed in the index. Sorry I couldn't find out any more. William was born 1852 and she was born 1862 or 1864. They are on the 1900 Census. Sabina died in 1919 so she will not be on the 1920 Census. Thanks for any help. Hi Rose, thank you for this information...this is my family...because from 1901-05...Sarah's brothers, James Rooney(my Gr. grandfather) and William Rooney were living at 503 Glenwood Ave. in Youngstown from 1901-1905...I had no idea they were all living together. I found where the brothers were living in the Youngstown Directory. When I found them I had not yet connected Sarah J and her husband to them. Whoopie!!! Barbara; Could find nothing on the 1900 Census for Uriah Dill or Dorcus. Don't know if you need 1870 Cincinnati Census, south half of 18 Th. Ward Uriah Dill, age 34, born in Ohio. Occupation Street-Car operator? Wife; Dorcus Dill, age 34, born in Ohio, Housekeeping. Dau; Amelia, age 16, born in Ohio, occupation seamstress. Dau; Anne, age 1, Tom in Florida
Barbara, you might want to look at the actual census. I don't have access to the census but since Tom couldn't find them; it looks like the census taker either overlooked them or misspelled Dill. I looked online and Dorcus is listed as buried at Weslyan Cemetery, Cincinnati 1/1/1904 and Uriah 6/29/1903. Did you contact the cemetery to see if they had information? Hi R C, Here is a possibility-see what you think. Immigra year for Julia matches the 1930 info. Misspellings of foreign names was very common. 1910, OH, Mahoning Co, Youngstown, Ward 6, Seet 15B, ED 143, taken April 21; Lewis Hurgovan, head, male, white,a ge 26, marr, 1 time, 1 year, b. Hungary, parents b. Austria, tongue for all is Maggar (remember the borders changed in that area a lot), immigr 1909, alien, steel, steel plant, wage worker, rents, house; Julia, wife, female, white, age 20, marr, 1 time, 1 yr, no children, immig 1909, alien, b. Hungary, parents b. Austria; They have 7 boarders with them-all have b. Hungary, parents b. Austria, tongue Maggar, most immigr in 1909, most marr but no wife's with them here. Here are the names-I am not totally sure of spelling a few of them. If they are of interest to you, you can repost requesting a reading for those in the household of Lewis Hurgovan; Joe Bordi, George Bordi, Andy Batcik?, Stefe Hughes, Pete Hudak, Mick Begala, John Horgovan; Hope this is your family. Dear Diana, Thank you so very much for searching for her for me. According to the story grandma told, Louise died while employed by Govenor James M. Cox. I do not know when or where she died because our family records were destroyed in a fire. My grandma has passed away so I cannot ask her any questions. I sincerely appreciate your help Diane. Thank you so very much! Maybe in the household of Govenor James M. Cox there would be a servant which was great grandma? Govenor James M. Cox would either be in Columbus, Franklin Co.
