There are 12 Soundex listings for 'George Balough' from Hungary in Ohio in 1920 (see below). Three of those were in Akron, Summit Co., OH, but no John Nemeth with any of those. Do you have ages for either of these men? Any other information I can use to look for them? Could someone please look up on the 1920 Census for Ohio (Cincinnati and Akron) a George Balough (or any other spelling for that name). He may have had a boarder in his household by the name of John Nemeth. The two were friends, either from Hungary or met while coming over here. I don't think George was a head of household, but the family name is Balough. John Nemeth immigrated around 1907 so should be in the 1910 and 1920 census. If you do find them, please let me know. Any help is appreciated. Hello, Here is Nicholas and family in 1850. Surname was spelled 'Newel'. Actually, the handwriting is difficult to read and the enumerator's 'N' looks like a 'P', a 'T', or a 'V' but not really an 'N'. So don't be hard on yourself if you couldn't find this one! Good luck! Looking for the family of Richard F. Wills age circa 41 and his wife Marie age circa 24. Yes there was a big age difference. They would have had three children Marie age 6, Richard age 4 and Joella age 2. I would like to know if the census states years married and the number of children born and living for this couple. Thank you. Edie Suttle, jsattle9@fuse.net
