    3. Ok I have the following Information from the Nebraska Census lookup list. I started off by looking for a Moses buried in Nebraska and got to this point. I want to find James, in the 1840 and back Census. My assumption is he left N. Y. just after the birth of Thomas. That is why I would like to know the 1840 and back. If he does not show up I will jump to New York and then possibly his place of birth New Hampshire. James R. Moses m Jane Thomas E. b 1836 1850 Claibourne, Union Co, Ohio, shows Thomas E. (a typical mistake) MOSES, age 14, with father James R. 40 (NH) and mother Jane 42 (Ireland). 1860 shows James and Jane in the same place and I believe the clincher may be that Maria MOSES' parents (Lewis and Catharine HEDGES) are on the previous page. Thomas (24) and Maria (16) appear to be married and living in Salt Rock, Marion Co, Ohio, in 1860. There is no Marion MOSES shown in the family. RC Thanks

    3. Thomas was in 1880 census age 27 with wife Phebe it was TH Taylor I believe. Phebe died in 1898 I believe and they had a daughter named Minnie who died in 1895, just a few years old. Both are buried in Sewellsville . I can find no grave for him but it has his name on tombstone as husband of Phebe. He and Phebe may have had a son Willard but he wouldn't have been that old. I don't know if he remarried, moved away or what. Just a shot in the dark. Thanks for looking though. Mabey he died just prior to census for 1900 and was buried someplace else. 3. I don't find a Thomas Taylor that fits your description in 1900. There is a Willie Taylor in Kirkwod 1900, age 47 married 3 years and he is a carpenter, wife Malissa, step son Maywood, daughter born 1-1898, don't know the name for sure, the index has it as Frank. Everything seems to fit except the name and no son named Thomas. Have you found Thomas in any census other than 1880.
