Could someone please look at the entry for Peter Hanacek, 42 b Austria in 1910 Cuyahoga 19-wd Cleveland? Series: T624 Roll: 1174 Page: 24 What I need to know is the brother-in-law's surname. It looks like John Spevola to me, but nothing I try putting through the index to double-check it works. I need a second opinion! Thanks!!

Marilyn , I have no idea when Herman Kahl came to America. I have no information on other information on him in that he married a Widow Anna maria "Mary " Deinzer (Denzer, Denger) in 1868. Joyce, The 1840 index only lists the name of the head of household and since Herman would only be 13 yrs. old in 1840 he won't be listed. The only KAHL showing up is a Henrey KAHL in Richland County.
