P. and and Abram P. in the 1900 and 1920. ) Glad it was her.. Thanks Marilyn, but it is not who I thought it might be. It was just a shot in the dark trying to find Robert Ray Overmyer. Hi Marilyn, If nothing else, a little trick I learned was to enter both names on the first search and it will bring up both names in the index..so I entered "Mildred June" . Gave me the Mildred's then June appeared with the 1916 entries.. Does not always work but can save a second search. Have a good night.... Hi Marilyn, BETHEL is her maiden name. She supposedly married a CRIDER and was living in Chillicothe, Ross Co., OH after 1964. I'll probably have to wait until I find out more about her before I put in another 1930 Census request. Thanks for your help! BaBa
I asked her daughter-in-law.
I just got confirmation that the Charles and Lucy Bennett in Ashtabula in 1920 is the correct family. So, that was all I needed from you kind folks. No other data required. No more lookups needed. I really appreciate everyone's efforts in this matter. Sorry it was so difficult to find. You're a great bunch!
Hi Jennifer, Thanks for going the "extra mile". After I sent my previous email, I had intended to look for a June BENNETT, "just in case", but got interrupted with 2 phone calls. By the time I got back to the computer, it had slipped my mind......ahhhh....these "senior moments" can be annoying. <grin> Marilyn ----------------original message--------------- In a message dated 4/26/2006 3:08:46 P.M. Eastern Standard Time, [email protected] writes: There were several Mildred Bennett's in the Ancestry index born "1915" none with that spelling appeared to be in Cuyahoga, but found a June Bennett born"1916"...in Ashtabula.. just in case..
Would someone check on this family in 1930 and see if there are any more children listed? Many thanks for all the great help.
