Merri, I found him in the 1860 census with wife & children in Tuscarawas Co. Do you have that information? I'll try another search of 1850, but it's possible the family may have been missed by the census taker. Thankyou Jennifer, the only sibling Richard may be living with is his brother James Haynes/Haines/Hanes, he was born England 1847. In 1900 James is living in Weathersfield Trumbull with daughter Ella Bell born 1875 she is married to William Kennedy born 1873 PA. I haven't got this family in 1910, could I ask you please to see if you can find them in 1910, there is a slim chance that Richard could be staying there. The other siblings of Richard, there are three sisters, I have all of them in 1910, no Richard there, the other siblings all died young. Thanks very much Jennifer, will wait to hear from you. All best wishes from Linda in England.
