Greetings O'Donnells, The LDS has free indexes (but no images) for the 1880 U.S. Census, 1881 Canadian Census, and 1881 British Census on their website at: http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Search/frameset_search.asp?PAGE=census/search_census.asp I have found several family members on this index.
