They had five children. Four died on the journal from Donegal. Mary is thought to be from Limerick. One daughter survived the journey - Alice Faye or Alice May One son James J. was born on Presidents Street in Brooklyn about 1860. He married first Mary Harrigan and second Charlotte Kerner Creen.
