Not true censuses as the 1901 & 1911 are. The first two are not of much use to anyone whose family was not wealthy. Tenants are not listed, only those who had large parcels of land. Parish censuses in some instances list teh number of people age, sex, in a census. The Tithe Books....something like 44 townlands...and I assume that there are Tithe defaulters lists. 1851 Griffiths 1901 Census On film outside Ireland 1911 Census Being filmed as far as I know, not all released yet by LDS's. hard copy originals in Nat Archives here 1908-1922 Census Search Forms. People who applied for old age pensions having reached the age of 70 had to produce evidence of age. Searches were made on earlier censuses. The forms filled out at the time of the search remain. Green forms held in National Archives, Dublin - applicants age, parents names, place where they lived. results rwitten on sheets. Form 37's also held in National Archives Dublin: these were sheets submitted by local pensions office: they covered several applicants: giving applicants names, ages, parents names, place of abode, results written on these sheets. Quaker Records There were a number of meetings in Tiperary: Cahir, Clonmel, Cashel, Kilconnombeg, Knockgriffon. Minute books remain for mens and womens meetings. Record of Sufferings 1783-1798, 1799-1868 Register of Births, mariages and deaths 1694- ?? Birth register 1812-1897 Marriage register 1812-1845 Burial register`1812-1919 burial notes 1812-1869 Copies of certificates of removal and Disunion ranging through the years. Deeds..and I'm not too sure what else Quaker records are held in the library of the Religious Society of Friends in Dublin. it is only open on a Thursday from 11-1. They will do a search for a fee as far as I know....
