Since no Irish census of the nineteenth century has survived, Griffiths Valuation is a record of extreme importance....can be used to identify an Irish ancestor's exact place of origin, and on Griffith's Valuation links an individual to a specific townland and civil parish." If you request a lookup, all I need is the name and county if you know it. It only has head of householders, so your person should be an adult during this period to be listed.
