    3. I am trying to put together a book on all the O'CONNOR/CONNORS/CONNOR families in South Africa. I have many files (each file represents a family and will be a "chapter" in the book) on my computer which I print out and bind to show people in order to induce them to co-operate. I am busy updating (so far have printed out some 2320 pages) my "show and view" book. Two files that may be of interest to other subscribers are my Family Psi and Family Chi. The former comes from County Kerry and reputedly from around Glencar. Another place name mentioned (presumably the name of a townland) is Farranfore. What is of interest is that some of the family fled Ireland after a fight with Land League officials and reputedly went to Canada. One of those involved was Michael Joseph O'CONNOR (born circa 1879). Jeremiah (came to South Africa) is a name in this family and he was apparently the son of Timothy O'CONNOR and his wife Mary (either TAYLOR or BREEN). The latter file relates to Castle Connell in County Limerick. 2 sons of John O'CONNOR and his wife Mary RYAN came to South Africa. > Can anybody relate to these two families?
