The Boston Globe Saturday, February 27, 1999 IRISH STAMPS UNVEILED --Stephen O'Connor of An Post, the Irish postal service, joined Rep. J. Joseph Moakley, Cardinal Bernard Law, and Max Kennedy in Boston for yesterday's unveiling of commemorative stamps paying tribute to Irish-Americans. One version will be available in Ireland and the other in the United States. Both stamps depict a ship in a harbor. Millions of Irish journeyed across the Atlantic to escape Ireland's potato famine, which began in 1845. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ For anyone who can get access to this newspaper, it is Metro-Region, Section B, Page 8.
