Seeking information on the O'Connor family said to live on O'Connors Island in the general area of Keadew, Co. Roscommon in the early 1900's.My grandparents were said to have worked for this family. Does anyone know if there is a location called O'Connor's Island or might this be a local designation? Would these O'Connor's be related to the O'Connors who feature so much in Irish History? At the kind suggestion of a couple of members of another list I wrote, to the O'Connor Family Dwelling in Castlerea, Roscommon but did not receive a reply.
