Can anyone help with the following query please :- I am seeking to progress my knowledge relating to my ancestry. the only information I have to date is the following: Grandfather - Peter CONNOR married Rebecca Eliza MATHEWS (SEALY ?) We guess Peter was born about 1875 Grandfather was a Sergeant in the RIC (Garda) stationed in Keadue Roscommon - where my father (Patrick Dennis) was born and the birth registered in 1909 (May 18th) Grandfather and Grandmother had six children before leaving Ireland to go to England - May, Ada Florence, Patrick Dennis, Mabel, Evelyn and Bernadette. There was some problem within the family in England and Grandfather went back to Ireland on his own. Grandfather died and was buried in Salt Hill Cemetery Galway.
