New to the list and wondering if anyone can help me with a place to start my research. I have ancestors Richard O'CONNOR (b. circa 1833, Ireland, emigrated to NY port, USA as a child, no knowledge of names of parents) and Bridget RIORDAN (b. circa 1832 Ireland, had a brother, no knowledge of parents; emigrated age 24) who eventually became his wife in Brooklyn, NY, USA circa 1865(?). I have not been able to find a marriage cert. and do not know where they came from in Ireland. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Janet in USA [email protected]
