I am trying to get more information about a Patrick Conner and wife Sarah. Both emigrated to Canada from Ireland (though perhaps not the same time). They presumably married in Canada, and had their children there. Mary Conner, wife of Joseph Carr was born in Collingwood and married in Arkincana Ontario. The marriage certificate lists both the parentage of Joseph and Mary. So, a Patrick Connor born in Ireland about 1814, emigrated probably around 1840s. I would love to discover where Patrick and Mary came from in Ireland. St. Patrick's day reminded me that I should be working harder to find the ancestral grounds of the Connor and McCormick families. I would also be interested in the course taken by Matilda and Samuel Connor. Matilda went with Mary to Cheboygan. Samuel may have stayed in Canada.
