Offline reseach isn't a realistic possibility for me, I'm sorry to say. Peter (born in Wexford County in 1831) evidently immigrated to either Virginia or Maryland in 1846 with his brothers James and John. Most online passenger lists for that year focus on ships going to New York or Boston, which doesn't help me. How can I locate appropriate passenger lists? I'd appreciate any ideas.
