I have a mysterious John O'CONNOR buried with my g grandfather in St. John's Cemetery, Middle Village, NY........let me know if you cannot find a death record on this John you found. He would have been b.ca.1866, according to the letter I got from the RC Diocese of Brooklyn. They say he was 60 yrs old and interred 24 Oct, 1926. My g grandfather was buried there in 1922. The plot was in my g grandmother's name for both burials. Ironically, I cannot find my gr grandmother, and she died many years later, in ca.1953. I cannot find any records on her, or my g grandfather Frederick THOUROT ....and have been years searching..... I was hoping this John O'CONNOR would be a clue, or even find the marriage cert on my g grandparents, but no luck yet.....Have spent for 2 NYC marriage searches with no adieu......frustrating sometimes....but know this John must have been related to her in some way, maybe even a second husband?
