Is there anyone on this list that is a descendent of the O'CONNORs from Macclesfield, Chs.? Patrick O'CONNOR b.1831 Mayo Co. IR, m.c.1848 Ann (Honoria) Griffen (b.1831) and they had two sons William b.1849 and Patrick b.1851, before moving to Macclesfield, Chs. Then they had 3 more sons: Bernard b.1855, John b.1859, and Peter b.1863. Both Bernard and Patrick had large families, all born in Macclesfield. John was married too, but I lost him after the 1881 census. Patrick O'CONNOR (d.1915) married Mary Savage, b. 1850 Macclesfield, d.1885 Macclesfield. They had seven daughters: Elizabeth Ann, Anora, Eleanor (my grandmother), Emilia, Caroline, Letitia, and Harriett. After Mary died, Patrick remarried Jane Brassington in 1887, and they had at least four more children: Jane, William, Winifred and John. Bernard (d.1892) m. to Catherine (maiden name unk.-d. 1898) and they had James, John, Annie, Mary, Joseph, Ellen, Peter, and Margaret. I have been able to find this information from the 1891 census, but I guess I will have to wait until the 1901 census is released before I can follow up further. I am sure there are several descendents somewhere, so please, contact me if you recognize any of these people. Audrey O'Regan
