In a message dated 12/6/98 11:02:50 AM Pacific Standard Time, [email protected] writes: This is not another list, this is my lists and yours. Anything you send to the list might not be important nowto each of us, but later !! We have all of this information in the archives. Yeah !! I've been twice myself since I found my next generation. I have notated in my fiels a few possibles and found some additional research help. I have, as you may have noticed a very relaxed and easygoing list. We have had NO infighting, I've never had to reprimand anyone or kick them off. I send the occasional joke to the list, and have no problem with the ocassional joke from you. The spam problem is virtually at zero level, thanks to the new program controls (at least you don't see any, I get the copies on the off chance it's an error, at least 3-12 a day). I don't have O'Connor's in the south, but while looking for my mother's side of the family it takes only a few seconds to check for the O'Connor surname. I KNOW it has helped at least twice, other people. And, on the off chance I find some as yet unknown family that was in the South, I can go back to the archives and look to see what has been posted. By all means, please keep it up. This IS after all what a list should be for, sharing finds, and maybe, someday, it might be your family that we/someone located for you. If you don't have anyone in Kerry, right now, use the delete key and go on your way. The next person, may have the records of Sligo, Cork, Shannon and may not want to post it if I say no and this may be the break you you are looking for. So SHARE, SHARE, SHARE and use the archives. Are there objections to my posting the O'Connor baptisms from Castleisland Parish, Co Kerry? I have been told to stop posting them to another list and wondered if the listowner here also objects. My thoughts were to post any such information was only to the good of all, since we are all seeking those type of records. Certainly don't want to step on anyones toes, though. Any comments? >From book "Everything's Relative" by Eliz. Payne Genealogy; The Study of Relativity Genealogy, A really dead end hobby Genealogy is like hide and seek; They hide I seek. Genealogists are ghost-aholics I'm tracing my family history so I knowwho to blame! Every family tree has some sap in it. I researched my family tree. Apparently, I don't exist! I shook my family tree and a bunch of nuts fell out. Help: I'm stuck in my family tree and I can't get down! Enjoy, Dona

Roscommon" and would be his way of "correcting" the inaccuracies that he perceived in Weld's Statistical Survey of the County of Roscommon and which inaccuracies were apparently submitted by the brothers Owen and Matthew O'Connor. 9) Memoirs of Gerald O'Connor : of the princely house of the O'Connors of Offaly in the Kingdom of Ireland done into modern English by his kinsman William O'Connor Morris.
