Seeking info on John (Galvin) O'CONNELL. Born in Co. Kerry, 26 June 1829 (according to gravestone). He was literate (not common in my ancestors). Parents and siblings are unknown. He used "G." as his middle initial. This was for "GALVIN (GALLIVAN)" his mother's maiden name. Known Galvin relatives originated in Galey and Lisselton Parishes in Kerry. He emigrated to USA in 1850s. Married Mary Ann Pyles in 1861 in Delaware Co, Ohio. Moved to St. Thomas, Le Sueur, Minnnesota about 1870. Johanna O'Connell KELLEHER and David O'Connell (w. Mary HAYES) may be siblings to John G. All three lived in Delaware Co. Ohio. David & family remained there. Johanna and hsb. Martin moved to Belle Plaine, Minnesota. John G.
