Researching my great-grandmother, Ellen O'CONNELL, born Co. Cork, Ireland, June 6, 1838 and died July 22, 1912, Blair, Nebraska; twin brother John, 8 siblings including sister Mary. Ellen came to Boston, Massachusetts, as governess approx 1864, maybe with Mary; in 1868 they were in Omaha, Nebraska, when Ellen married Patrick MURRAY. They had 4 children before moving to Blair, Nebraska, where they had 4 more children. Sons Thomas, John, Richard, and Daniel never married; daughters were Margaret (RYAN, TIVIS), Mary (VAN HUSS), Ellen (MACKIN), and Anna (LEWIS). Mary married Pat GRANDON, then Charles HEIMAN and lived in South Omaha. Don't know anything re Ellen's parents or siblings in Ireland, and very little re sister Mary.
