Hi all. I am searching for information on the family of my GGfather, Patrick (O')Connell (b. 1838) of the City of Limerick, St. Mary's Parish. He had a sister, Anne (b. 1834), and a brother, James (b. 1836). His parents were Michael CONNELL and Margaret BARRETT. Patrick emigrated to NY, fought in the Civil War, and spent the rest of his life in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, where he married Mary MCCUE, daughter of John McCue and Mary CUSICK. His son, John, moved to Washington, DC, and his daughter Margaret (Quarnstrom) seems to have moved to Detroit.
