Hi, I am looking for a MAURICE O'CONNELL and his wife, CATHERINE HUNT O'CONNELL. I was told they were born in Co. Kerry, IR about 1820ish. They came to Mara TWP, N. Ontario CO, Ontario. during the potato famine. I have had two dates given me 1847 & 1849. Their children were supposed to be born in W. Gwilliamsberry, Simcoe CO. They were supposed to attend church in Atherly. They had one daughter, Margaret, who was 6 months old when they left IR. She died and was buried at sea. This info was given to me by my Aunt, their granddaughter. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Thanks Jean Spokane WA
