I am new to the site and am searching for information on my great-grandmother Ellen O'CONNELL, b. Jun 6, 1838, County Cork, Ireland; d. Jul 22, 1912, Blair, NE. Known siblings were twin John (sea captain) and Mary (married Heiman (last name), Omaha, NE). Ellen came to Boston, MA, as governess (date unknown); married Patrick MURRAY 1869 in Omaha, NE. They moved to farm outside Blair, NE before 1876. Had 8 children: Thomas; Margaret Theresa (Meg) Ryan/Tivis; John; Richard Patrick; Mary Magdalena (Minnie) VanHuss; Helen Theresa (Nellie) Mackin; Daniel; and grandmother Anna Bina Lewis. None of the 4 sons married. Any help is greatly appreciated.
