Mrs Pauline C Sleeper, 99Oregonian, The (Portland, OR) - Tuesday, February 6, 2001 Pauline C. Sleeper died Feb. 1, 2001, at age 99. No services will be held. Mrs. Sleeper was born Oct. 11, 1901, in Willowdale, Kan. Her maiden name was Peeler. She worked briefly in a laundry business and was a homemaker. She lived in Colorado and Arizona and moved to Gresham 10 years ago. She married Henry Spruell. After he died, she married Henry Sleeper; he later died. She is survived by her son, Henry "Alfred" Spruell; and stepson, Jerry Spruell. Her daughter, Zola Marie Rice, died in September. Disposition is by cremation. Arrangements are by Gresham Funeral Chapel.
