Jederlinich died Friday at home in Corvallis. He was born on April 3, 1924, in New York, N.Y., to Anton and Pauline Jederlinich, and was raised and educated in New York City. John married Louise Belica on Sept. 20, 1952. They moved to Teaneck, N.J., where he worked as a supervisor for a home insurance company. He retired in 1990 and in 1997 moved to Myrtle Beach, S.C., and then to Corvallis in 2005. He enjoyed auto mechanics, gardening and spending time with his family, especially his granddaughters. He was also an avid hockey fan, always rooting for the New York Rangers. He is survived by his wife, Louise, of Corvallis; son Mark and daughter-in-law Kathy of Summit; daughters Karen and Gary Paccagnini of Randolph, N.J., and Trish and John Borowski of Philomath; a brother, Joseph, of Philadelphia, Pa.; and seven granddaughters, Heather, Emily, Jillian, Lisa, Jenna, Michele and Tara. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Helen Sparozic. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 6, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Corvallis. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. An evening Rosary service was held Monday.
