Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Wednesday, January 30, 2002 Joseph Clark Bray of Surry, Va., died Jan. 19, 2002, in Richmond in the Maguire V.A. Hospital. He was born in Jellico, Tenn. to Francis M. and Jessie L. Bray. He had lived in Surry for the past 9 1/2 years. He was a retired engineer and a member of the American Legion and the VFW. He is survived by his wife, Natalie M. Bray; daughters, Patricia A. Rasor of Richmond, Susan M. Bufton of Virginia Beach, M. Elizabeth Morrison of Suffolk, and V. Kathleen Peterson of Virginia Beach; sons, Donald J. Bray of Knoxville, Tenn., Terry L. Bray of Charlotte, N.C., and Joseph C. Bray of Virginia Beach; three sisters and two brothers of Jellico, Tenn.; and 16 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 3 p.m., in the Waverly Baptist Church in Waverly, Va. ________________________________
