Dr. Mary Ann Nichols April 30, 1931 - May 24, 2009 Dr. Mary Ann Nichols April 30, 1931 - May 24, 2009Argus Observer (Ontario, OR) - Wednesday, May 27, 2009 Nampa Dr. Mary Ann Nichols, 78, of Nampa, Idaho, went to be with Jesus on Sunday, May 24, 2009. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 29, 2009, at Christian Faith Center in Nampa, Idaho. Burial will follow at Parma Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 28, 2009, at Lienkaemper Chapel in Ontario, Ore. Condolences to the family may be made at www.lienkaemper-thomason.com. Ann Nichols, born April 30, 1931, in Tahlequah, Okla., was the wife of Donald F. Nichols, who preceded her in death June 15, 1992. Her children are Robert V. Nichols, of Lake Elsenore, Calif., Tanya Nichols, of Fresno, Calif., Sylvia Scheitzach, of Nampa, Idaho, Dale Nichols, who preceded her in death, Neena Do, of Irvine, Calif., and Rose Pham, of Lawndale, Calif. Ann and her husband were pastors of Shalom Fellowship Church in Fruitland, Idaho. After Don"s death, she continued the pastorate until the church"s closing. Ann was president of the Board of Directors of Full Gospel Church in Christ and traveled extensively in evangelism and prophesy teaching for Reeves Christian College and Seminary where she later became dean. She held three doctorates: Th.D., D.D. and Ph.D. She was also a counselor, chaplain, was active in music and was a frequent speaker at camp meetings and conferences. Her ministries were many and varied. Ann had 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She loved them very much. She also loved Shalom and all of the people there. To her family and to her church, she leaves this message, "Jesus saves, heals and satisfies. Shalom (Peace)."
