MARGARET J. NICODEMUS Oregonian, The (Portland, OR) - Wednesday, December 28, 1994 The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, 1994, in Hillside Chapel. Mrs. Nicodemus died Dec. 21 in her Oregon City home at age 78. She was born Jan. 28, 1916, in Montrose, Mo. Mrs. Nicodemus was past president of the World War I Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. She is survived by her sons, Roger and David, both of Salem, Dale A. of Oregon City and James E. of Portland; daughters, Ellen E. Mann of Portland, Veda M. Nicodemus and Ester R. Walbert, both of Oregon City and Judy A. Varnell of College Place, Wash.; brother, Herman Walbert of San Antonio, Texas; sisters, Mary Walbert of Estacada and Florian Wiese of Oregon City; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Interment in Willamette National Cemetery. Remembrances: Oregon City Senior Center. ________________________________
