Oregonian, The (Portland, OR) - Tuesday, February 20, 2001 Alta "Faye" Villarreal died Feb. 14, 2001, at age 64. A private service was held. Mrs. Villarreal was born March 31, 1936, in Tulsa, Okla., and moved to the North Plains area as a child. Her maiden name was Johnson. She was a strawberry farmer most of her life, running farms with her husband in western Washington County until retiring in 1994. In 1954, she married Odell Newman; they divorced. In 1968, she married Severo Villarreal; he died in 1993. Survivors include her son, Tyndel Newman; daughters, Sandra Good, Julie Nuse, Debbie Davis and Juanita Mendez; brother, Robert Johnson; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Disposition is by cremation. Arrangements are by Donelson Sewell & Mathews Mortuary. ________________________________
