Dear Sir, Madam: I am searching information about and in particular a picture from: 1st Lt. Daniel R. Treece. His Army service number: O-696979. According to NARA he resided at Essex County, NJ. He was killed September 30th, 1944. His unit was the 860 Bomb Squadron, 493 Bomb Group (Heavy), he was awarded the Purple Heart and Air Medal. In particular I am seeking a picture from him. There may have been some kind of article/announcement in a newspaper in 1944, or in a yearbook from his school. I have tried at WW2Memorial.com, NARA etc. without luck finding his picture. Any info/help will be welcome. Can you help?
