The obit appeared Aril 12. Is this the correct Daniel Brown? April 9, 2004 Daniel Ray "Danny" Brown, 48, of Pine Bluff, died Friday at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. He was born Aug. 23, 1955, at Camden, a son of the late John Henry Brown and Dorothy Shaddock Brown. He was reared near Bearden and graduated from Bearden High School. He was a resident of Fordyce for many years before moving to Pine Bluff in 2002. He was a self-employed carpenter and the owner of Danny Brown Construction Company. He attended First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Diane Witham. Survivors include his wife, Carrie Meurer Lindsey Brown, whom he married Oct. 4, 2002, at Pine Bluff; two daughters, Jennifer Brown and Emily Brown, both of Fordyce; a son, Kevin Brown of Fordyce; a stepdaughter, Becky Lindsey of Pine Bluff; a stepson, Derrick Lindsey of Pine Bluff; four brothers, John Brown and Larry Brown, both of Fordyce, Jerry Brown of Sheridan and Gary Brown of Bearden; two sisters, LaVern Witham of Malvern and Dorothy Jones of Houston; and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors with the Rev. John Deaton officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. The family will be at the Meurer residence at 2804 Orlando Drive.
