Dear Sir, Madam: Please assist me in regard of the following. I have an interest for WW 2 history, especially in the US servicemen that were killed for our liberation. I do research about US servicemen that were killed in WW 2 and are/were buried in the US Military Cemetery in Holland, near where I live. I am searching information about and in particular a picture from: Cale E. Judd, PFC. His Army service number: 39460466. He was born in 1916, February 6th. According NARA he resided at Latah County, Idaho. Probably he lived in Campbell County, Wyoming, at the time he enlisted. He enlisted December 19th, 1942. He was taken as Prisoner Of War on November 13th, 1944. He Died Of Wounds December 17th, 1944. He is buried in the US Military Cemetery in Margraten, Holland. In particular I am seeking a picture from him. There may have been some kind of article/announcement in a newspaper in 1944, or in a yearbook from his school. I have tried at WW2Memorial.com, NARA, library in Idaho, as well as some local societies, etc. without luck finding his picture. Any info/help will be welcome. Can you help? Judd, born 6 Feb 1916 to Joseph Park Judd, born 28 Aug 1888 in Lineville, Wayne Co, Iowa (IA) and Nellie Jane Lane, 4 April 1890 in Corydon, Wayne Co, IA. Joseph died 6 May 1941 in Troy, ID. They had three children: a. Hazel Lucille Judd, born 18 Nov 1910 in IA. She married Milo Rose in Clarkston, Asotin Co, WA. Hazel died 28 July 1968 in Hemet, Riverside Co, California. Two children. One child married a William Neal Crabtree born Kentucky. b. Cale. c. J.P. Judd, born 14 Oct 1925 in Teckla, Wyoming.
