I am hoping to find someone who can find an obituary for Nettie Ethel (Siler) West. She was born 8 Sep 1889 in Pleasanton, Linn County, Kansas. She married Owen William West in 1910. She died in a car collision with a train along with her 9 year old niece, Helen Siler on 7 Dec 1934. I believe there were other fatalities as well but the names are unknown to me. I am unsure which of the bigger newspapers might have carried the story or obituary but I have learned that there were two newspapers in Pleasanton at the time. They were The Pleasanton Herald and The Pleasanton Observer-Enterprise. I don't think either of them are in print any longer. I am hoping to find more details on her life and about her death.
