George Yamamuro: Newspaper Obituary and Death Notice Oregonian, The (Portland, OR) - May 13, 2006 Deceased Name: George Yamamuro George Yamamuro died May 8, 2006, at age 90. Mr. Yamamuro was born Feb. 23, 1916, in Dallas, Ore. During World War II, he was interned in Tule Lake. After the war, he moved to Gresham and was a baker for Keller Bakery ( later Langendorf Bakery) in Portland for more than 25 years. He moved to Hillsboro in 2003. In 1940, he married Mary Itow; she died in 2001. Survivors include his sons, Nicholas, Bobby and Jerry; daughter, Linda Iwasaki; and two grandchildren Remembrances to Washington County Hospice. Therefore I will just ask you for possibly some ideas for me where to go at this point. I am looking for 2 obituaries. Try as I might I have not been able to locate either one. They are both burried in the Salem Pioneer Cemetery Plot # 287 - We believe these people to be my fathers parents. He was adopted and his adoptive mother just passed away. He was given his adoption papers after her death. This is all new territory for all of us. Now we know that his parents have both passed away - We want to know if he has sibling, possibly a photo in the obituary and so much more!!!
