Could not locate his obit but could this person be related? John Jiles Ellis John Jiles Ellis, 84, a resident of Lake City, Florida died Monday, January 21, 2002 at the Shands at Lake Shore Hospital. Mr. Ellis was a real Son of a Confederate Soldier. He is the son of the late William Riley and Ola Ellis. He was a native of Columbia County and a member of the Salem Primitive Baptist Church, Lake City. He had lived in Lutz, Florida for most of his life. He is preceded in death by Gladys Ellis, two Sisters: Mary Jane Bryant and Gertrude Crews Three Brothers: Riley Ellis, Ben Ellis and Grover Ellis. Mr. Ellis was a Kind, Loving and Caring man who enjoyed his family and friends, working outside and tending his garden. Survivors include one daughter: Betty (Trez) Neeley, Lutz, Florida, three grandchildren: Jiles David (Donna) Neeley, Lutz, Florida, Debbie (Jim) Garcia, Indian Shores, Florida and Danny(Wendy) Neeley, Lutz, Florida. Six Great Grandchildren Jamie, Mandy, Shawn, Melissa, Anthony and Megan. One Great, Great Grandchild Shelby and so many Loving and Caring Nieces and Nephews it is impossible to name. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday January 24, 2002 at 11:00 A.M. in the Salem Primitive Baptist Church with the Elder Herman Griffin, officiating. Interment will follow in the Salem Primitive Baptist Church with the Elder Herman Griffin, officiating. Interment will fol-low in the Salem Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
