Times Union, The (Albany, NY) - April 30, 2001 Deceased Name: LEWANDUSKY , STANLEY MELROSE -- Stanley C. Lewandusky, 56, of Pinewoods Road, Melrose, died suddenly Friday, April 27, 2001 at St. Mary's Hospital, Troy following a short illness. Born in Troy, NY, November 4, 1944, son of the late Stanley and Olga Bisa Lewandusky. He was the husband of Janice L. Simon Lewandusky whom he married November 18, 1995. Mr. Lewandusky worked in the shipping department of the General Electric Silicone Products Division in Waterford. He was an avid fishing and gardening enthusiast as well as a vintage corvette owner. Survivors in addition to his wife Janice include, one son, Sean Lewandusky of Ballston Spa; one brother, Curtis Lewandusky of Melrose; one sister, Tira Knothe of Cohoes; one nephew, Brian Knothe of Waterford and one grandson, Nicholas; also his best friend, William Kirkey (Uncle Bill). Private funeral services were conducted at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hoosic Valley Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 41, Schaghticoke, NY 12154 in his memory.
