A native of Atchison, Kan., he moved to the area in 1964 from St. Louis. He was a retired grocery store manager and a Catholic. He is survived by his wife, Lucy M.; a son, John E. of Key West; a daughter, Anita Rosner of Florissant, Mo.; a sister, Catherine MacDonald of Kenneth City; 10 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
