The Brooklyn Eagle is only on line thru 1902...If your John David was married you may want to try and find his marriage certificate as this may provide further info on his parents. Obituaries in NYC unless the person was famous or wealthy would normally only include age and address at anyrate. Good luck. I am looking for an obituary for my great-great-grandfather, John David, who died on June 10, 1915 in Brooklyn, NY. He died at 4016 Avenue K and he was 75 years when he died. I couldn't find an obit for him in the Brooklyn Daily Eagle. He was born in France but I have been deperately trying to find out where in France he was from as well as his mother's maiden name (death certificate just says Theresa). Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
