My oldest Oakley ancestor has been a roadblock for some time, but I am eternally optimistic that eventually someone will join our list or come across the information I need for a Miss OAKLEY who married a Mr. JAMES in the mid 1800's. Susan Caroline OAKLEY, who was born 18 October, 1826 (perhaps in TN?) and died 23 January, 1907 in Crittenden County, KY. She married Garrett SpencerbJAMES in the mid 1800's (best guess for location of marriage is Smith County, TN, but don't know for sure). She and Garrett JAMES had 11 children. I have considerable information to share on their descendants, but I really need help to find Susan Caroline's siblings and/or parents.
