HBH 1890 August 5 Boundary dispute Captain PREECE and J A CONNELL, the Commissioners appointed to investigate the disputed boundaries between the AWARUA and MANGAOHANE blocks, and the government blocks of RUATANIWHA North and O. TURANGA, sat at the old Provincial Chambers yesterday. Mr E H WILLIAMS appeared for Nea HUKE Mr LEWIS for Airini TONORE'S section of the NGATI te UPUKIURI tribe Mr KOCH for the NGATIWHITI tribe. The evidence of Mr Horace BAKER was concluded and that of the old chief Raniera te ATUKI was taken at considerable length, Mr HAMLIN acting as interpreter. The investigation is still proceeding.
