HBH 1890 APRIL 28th APPLEYARD William New Plymouth Mr William APPLEYARD has received a communication from some enquiry agents at Christchurch asking after his antecedents. The letter states that Mr John APPLEYARD died thirty years ago in Lincolnshire worth £20,000, and inquirers wish to find his heirs. The APPLEYARD here is the only son of John Appleyard, at Horton, Lincolnshire, who died thirty years ago, and he is 64 years of age. He left home at the age of sixteen as a soldier for INDIA, and says he had heard as a boy of a rich uncle in AMERICA, but knows nothing further.
