    3. Judy Weller At the S.M. Court yesterday morning, Francis THOMPSON, charged with failing to support his illegitimate child was remanded to WOODVILLE, where the case will be heard on Thursday. Bail was allowed, accused in £50 and two sureties of £25 each. Jessie JOHNSTON was ordered to be committed to gaol for 14 days for vagrancy. William M'INTYRE was fined 5s and costs 14s, for working a bus horse while suffering from a sore shoulder. William LeBAS, Thomas PRATER, and William GEBBIE, were each fined 2s 6d with costs for plying for hire on railway premises without a license. A charge against William BOYD of using indecent language was dismissed. Mr CRESSWELL represented plaintiff, and Mr LUSK appeared for defendant.
