The Australia is larger than the vessel now engaged in the trade, and more suitable. The SOUTHERN CROSS is under orders to sail for RARATONGA, and the local officials expect to despatch her on Friday. The CORINNA will again take up her old running in the DUNEDIN, LYTTELTON, and WELLINGTON connection. The FLORA will go back to DUNEDIN, WELLINGTON, and AUCKLAND trade. The AUSTRALIA and SOUTHERN CROSS will be overhauled before sailing for their destinations.
