James was a bachelar aged 28 years and Mary was a Widow aged 34 years. James died 12 April 1874 in Napier Hospital from complications of a compound fracture of the legs. Mary remarried John ANDERSON, Railway Overseer in Te Aute 17 May 1875. ( Had no children to him) Mary ANDERSON died 03 Mar 1887 and had 5 children born in the years she was married to McDERMOTT. Three males born ; 1859, 1865, 1868. Two females born 1860, 1870 I have no idea of their names Any help greatly appreciated Cheers Lynette
